Legal and terms overview
This page provides a plain-language overview of how MEXTOQ should be used, what customers can expect from the platform, and the boundaries around recommendations, data ownership, and service responsibility.
Nature of the service
MEXTOQ is a software platform that helps businesses analyze inventory conditions and generate operational recommendations such as transfer, reorder, liquidation, and rebalance actions. Recommendations are decision support outputs and should be reviewed within the customer's own business context.
Customer responsibility
Data accuracy
Customers are responsible for the correctness of uploaded source data, operational assumptions, and external information entered into the system.
Approval and execution
Customers remain responsible for approving, rejecting, or acting on recommendations generated by the platform.
Lawful and authorized use
The service should be used only in accordance with applicable law, internal controls, and authorized organizational access.
Data ownership and acceptable use
Data ownership
Customers retain ownership of their business data. MEXTOQ uses customer data to provide the service, operate the engine, support customers, and improve product reliability and usability.
No misuse of customer or system data
Users must not upload unlawful, malicious, misleading, or unauthorized data into the service.
No platform abuse or unauthorized access
Users must not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, interfere with, or compromise the platform or related systems, and must not impersonate others or access organizations without proper authorization.
Commercial boundaries
Intellectual property
The MEXTOQ platform, software, product workflows, visual design, branding, and underlying system logic remain the intellectual property of MEXTOQ except where customer-owned data is concerned.
Liability boundary
MEXTOQ is provided as a commercial software product intended to improve planning and operating decisions. No software output should be treated as a guaranteed business result, and except where restricted by applicable law or contract, MEXTOQ is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential business losses arising from customer data issues, third-party system dependencies, or customer execution decisions.
Service evolution
We may improve or modify features, recommendation logic, integrations, and product workflows over time. Where changes materially affect service behavior, we aim to communicate them through product or support channels.
